eep! was one of the big guns from last year (runner-up), so I was expecting another great film from this last year. This flick started with an old hillbilly recounting his story of a mythical moose somewhere in the New Zealand bush to a young guy, the guy (Robin Slade) seems to be working for some secretive organisation up north who want the stories about the moose to disappear. He's told to take the guy out to the bush and finish him off. They head out to the bush, meeting a few wierdos... and eventually meeting up with a wild-eyed drug-taking man who declares himself to be the moose. The film ends with Robin Slade telling his boss up north that she can't handle the moose. I found it hard to follow the story, it seemed quite disjointed and high on "What the...?" factor. (most likely intentional). Technically superb once again, apart from some shoddy sound here-n-there, acting was generally brilliant but despite some very funny lines, storyline may hold this one back. Still a finals possibility.
